KTR - Ko Jareon

Ko Tao Dive Resort is part of a larger group of companies Ko Tao Resort and Ko Jaroen Night Ferries are also major. To end it after the last word players
Ko Tao Resort was established over 20 years ago and was one of the first resorts on Ko Tao, back when it was very difficult to get to Ko Tao, now it is easy to get here. In that time the Ko Tao Resort has grown to become one of the very few luxury resorts on Koh Tao that offer the Five Star Standard of service. The Gardens are beautifully landscaped and manicured and have been filled with natural Thai flowers and trees. All of the rooms have been built around the environment to have as little impact as possible, this adds to the beauty of the resort by using the environment to complement the rooms and lessen the environmental impact on Koh Tao and the surrounding reef's and aquatic environment. Ko Tao Resort has a dedicated sewage system to lessen the environmental impact on the island and Gulf of Thailand. Everyday our staff cleans the beach because we want you to have a wonderful beautiful stay while here. Along with the cleanliness, our beautifully laid out resort makes us the ideal choice for both couples, families, travelers and divers wishing for an idyllic time away from home. Customer service is paramount for us. Ko Jareon Night Ferry is the premiere luxury service for getting to and from Ko Tao from Surathani or Chumphon at night. It is the only night boat that you have air conditioning on. Many travelers prefer taking the Night Ferries as it adds to the adventure, saves you money on a night of accommodation and leaves the traveling to night time, so the next day you are well rested to explore Thailand. It is also an option to take a bus from
Bangkok to Chumphon and take the night boat down so that you are well rested when you get to Ko Tao. Alternatively from Phi Phi, Krabi or Phuket you could take the bus to Surathani and take the night boat from there.

This price includes taxi transfer to Ko Tao Dive Resort when you book with us. This night ferry has 70 Air-Conditioned single bunk beds available every trip. Cost for this trip is 400 Thai Baht.

Booking
Traveling to Koh Tao from Bangkok is not difficult.

You can book bus and connecting boat tickets with LOMPRAYAH www.lomprayah.com or you can get the overnight train from Hua Lumpong Train Station, in Bangkok, to Chumphon and get the LOMPRAYAH from there.
Trains can fill up quickly and tickets are not that easy to book on line, in high season I recommend to pre-book your travel route at least 4 days in advance.
If you come by train, take one that arrives before 6.00am in the morning in Chumphon so you can still catch the 7.00 am Lomprayah (boat tickets can be bought in the train station when you arrive in Chumphon). Or go to Fame Tour, a popular traveler's hang out and they can arrange tickets. If this is not possible, Lomprayah also runs an afternoon boat from Chumphon which leaves at 13.00 pm and arrives on Koh Tao around 15.00 pm.
Alternatively, the quicker way to travel is flying from Bangkok to Koh Samui or Chumphon. BANGKOK AIRWAYS has more than 10 flights daily www.bangkokair.com from Koh Samui you can catch a connecting boat with either SEATRAN or LOMPRAYAH. SOLAR AIR flies daily and has teamed up with LOMPRAYAH so that is also now a great affordable option.
Please check on line your flight arrival, as you may have to spend 1 night on Koh Samui. The last boat from Koh Samui to Koh Tao leaves Koh Samui at 19:00.
For those not starting their journey from Bangkok, we would like to refer to the travel information on our website, or send us a quick email so we can assist you in planning your trip.
As soon as you arrive on Koh Tao, our free pick up service will be waiting for you to bring you to our Dive Center at the end of Chalok Ban Kao.
To be able to send the taxi at the right time to the right pier, please provide us with your arrival information including DATE, TIME and the NAME OF BOAT COMPANY you will be travelling with. Please let us know if we can be of any further help in planning your upcoming holiday.
